THE GONDA BUILDING
The center is housed in a seven-story building at the north part of the Bar-Ilan Campus, close to the psychology and the engineering departments.
The architecture of the building was designed to increase scientific interaction and foster fertilization of ideas, and the building includes large community spaces at each floor, an open six-story gallery, and a 300-seat auditorium for scientific conferences.
The interior architecture of the building contains a prominent motif: a set of circular meeting rooms on each floor together creating a large cylindrical body at the center of the building, looking like a giant microscope. That microscope "looks" through a transparent "dish" on the first floor, passing sunlight into the lower patio.
